There once lived a beautiful princess who's name was Princess Peacock.
She was the most beautiful Princess ever with long blue feathers that
flowed behind her when she walked. The Princess had gotten very lonely
the past
year. She missed her old country which was Bluesville. She was tired
of being all alone in the big castle with only her servants to her dirty
work.
As Princess Peacock walked through the castle and looked into the rooms.
She discovered she wasn't' only bored and lonely one. Two figures facing
each other one in blue and red shirts sat in the dining room. Just
staring at each other in boredom. Finally, the Princess decided that
she would
have a challenge! She would invite all the Princes who weren't married
to the castle. Each would giver her a gift if she liked the gift then
the Prince must be right for her. The Princess starting making plans
right
away. It had been a month now, and today was the big day. Princess
Peacock looked beautiful! She had taken a bath, got her feathers done,
and was
wearing very pretty jewelry. The first Prince to arrive was Prince
Wolfman. He had dark red lips and rather pointy teeth. He scared the
Princess but
she waited to see what his gift was. He brought a man who danced on
his friend's nose. The man's nose was red from all the dancing. The Princess
didn't like this at all and made all three leave right then. Next to
come
was a small Prince that was only 8. He loved how the Princess looked
and thought he had a chance with her. The little Prince was dressed in
blue
and brought his pet rat. His gift was a baby with a big rattle. The
baby was his little sister and he wanted to get rid of her. The Princess
told
the boy to leave with his sister and rat. A woman-speaking ghost came
and told the Princess that the great Prince Red was coming. She was his
messenger
and it was a good thing that the Princess could understand Speaking
of the Ghost. Soon after the messenger left, Prince Red arrived. The
Prince
had a red spot on one of his eyes. And wasn't that handsome at all.
HIs gift to the Princess was a red mask with glitter. Princess Peacock
liked
the mask for the glitter but she did not need a mask and did not think
Prince Red that great either. Prince Carl showed up not minutes after
Prince Red left. Prince Carl drove up in a vertical car that was red.
Prince Carl
was a handsome man that wore blue silky clothes. Prince Carl was very
nice to the Princess and talked to her for a while before showing his
gift.
The Prince did not bring anything much but he had his won performing
group. Kneeling Rabbit, which was Princess Peacock's good friend. The
Rabbit was
completely blue from being out int he cold. He quickly came and told
the Princess that the last Prince was coming up the road. Then Rabbit
left
as quick as he came. Prince Humpty Dumpty was very rude to the Princess.
She told him to leave at once and he did with his snail. Princess Peacock
and Prince Carl spent a lot of time together at her castle. They talked
about where they came from and the Princess found out he came from
Redsville. The Princess was not sure if the could marry since he was
from another
country. They worried about this for month's and months. Finally they
checked with Countries Laws and they said it was alright to marry out
of different
countries. Princess Peacock and Prince Carl grew closer than ever.
It had been two years since he had first came to the castle. And on one
sunny
spring morning as the two sat in the garden, Prince Carl asked Princess
Peacock if she would marry him. She said yes before he could even show
her the ring. The two spent the whole day planning and telling everyone
the good news. This type of thing had never happened before, two people
from different countries marrying. Six months later, the big day came.
Princess Peacock was dressing in a beautiful white dress and that afternoon
and had a party and invited all their friends. Prince Carl's mom was
there. She was a tall thin lady who wore red and blue jewelry. She liked
the Princess
and became friends with her very fast. Some of the Princess's friends
came. Like the kneeling rabbit who was still blue, her two friends
that always
had smiles and were dressed in red, and Mr. Figure and Mrs. Sunflower
who both are blue. There was a show done by Prince Carl's group People
as Lines
and a red woman with a fan performed. The day was over now and it was
dark. Everyone had gone home and the new married couple went on their
honeymoon.
The two had come back from their honeymoon and were living happy with
all their wonderful servants. The next spring Queen Peacock had a purple
egg.
A golden had held the egg every day with a light on it to keep it warm.
The two were very happy to know that their two countries would be united
and be one. They decided as the two countries to change the name and
be Purplesville. Many months later, the egg hatched to be a beautiful
baby
girl peacock. She was as blue just like her parents. Her name was Princess
Hope. Her name was Hope because she was the hope for the new country,
Purplesville. If the two countries had not united again like long ago,
we would not have
the color purple. You can only get purple when something red and blue
unite. Just like Redsville and Bluesville did.
